From Dream to Reality: The Story of Amogh
Amogh means "infallible" in Sanskrit and is often associated with something that is successful or effective without fail, and it holds a special place in my heart. But when has anyone tasted the sweetness of success without first enduring the sting of failure? Every little achievement in my life, like yours, has come with its share of setbacks.

My journey to create Amogh began with a bold decision to leave the security of my job to start something of my own. Even when I was studying or working, I had ideas buzzing in my mind. One day, when my mom and I were getting ready for a family wedding, I was excited to wear the new earrings I got from Jaipur. These weren’t just any earrings; they were intricate Kundan-style earrings set in gold, which had taken me ages to find during my last Jaipur trip. I had to wander through so many markets and haggle with numerous vendors. But she insisted I wear her vintage pearl necklace instead. “The pearls are elegant and perfect for the occasion,” she said. I, however, wanted to finally showcase my rare find because they added just the right amount of modern sparkle. The argument escalated into a playful but heated debate about classic versus contemporary designs, and we even got my dad in for a tie-breaking vote (he wisely abstained).
It was a silly fight, but I realized how passionate I am about jewelry and how much I enjoy finding that perfect piece. That’s when it struck to me that I can use my wealth of knowledge about jewelry and fashion while helping others find the perfect pieces too.
